So, we all know Twilight is about the love! The Edward-Bella-Jacob triangle has hurt and confused many a-fan.
But I am on Team Edward. Completely, totally, and irrevocably on Team Edward!

First, we must talk Jacob Black. Jacob really makes my blood boil when he forces a kiss on Bella. Bella doesn't respond to his kisses, yet he keeps going. He laughs at her anger and basically tells her that she doesn't know her own mind and heart---And that it is HIS job to make her realize it. When Bella says she thinks of the kiss more like "an assault" I'm in completely agree with her. I wanted to punch Jacob myself! I don't like disliking Jacob, as we was such a great friend in New Moon, but his trespass is near unforgivable to me.

Edward. How do I love thee? E is the MAN because he truly loves Bella. He doesn't just say he loves her, he acts like it (and we all know actions speak louder than words)! He is always there for her, looking out for her. He cares about what makes her happy, not just himself. Yes, Edward becomes controlling when he has Alice "kidnap" Bella to keep her away from Jacob and the pack. As Bella says, the arms that had protected her now became her cage. But before Bella or I could truly become enraged, Edward apologized. Not only did he apologize, but he told her he trusted her judgment (the magic words). Not only did he apologize and trust her judgment, but he actually changed his ways because he saw how unhappy it was making her. An apology with out action to change what was offensive, is no apology at all. Edward, we can tell, is truly sorry for what he has done and will try to make it right.

In the story that Jacob tells about King Solomon, it is clear that Edward is the one that truly loves her. Edward is willing to give her up, so that she is happy.

Edward's love, although began selfishly, becomes unselfish.
Jacob stays selfish until it become irrevocably clear that they'll never be Jella (Jacob+Bella).

Thus, on account of TRUE LOVE, not just selfish desire, I am on Team Edward.

The reason I am a flag waver for Team Edward can be summarised in three reasons. (I'll keep it short cause if I get going it might be awhile).

1. It's Edward.

2. He is willing to sacrifice their love and his happiness so she can have a life and be happy. While he can be controlling and stubborn at times he wants the best for her. Even if that means he loses her.

3. Jacob Black is a manipulator extraordinaire. Eclipse just plain old made me mad at this character and not even for the kiss. Although threatening to kill one's self is a manipulation of the highest order. He's very dismissive of Bella. When she speaks of Edward he always makes nasty comments. Bella may snap at him for it but he always apologises and promises not to do it again and she always forgives him. I would have to count on both hands (and possibly my toes) the number of times he did this to her.

As I was typing this I experienced an epiphany - the reason I prefer Edward and Bella are the obvious reasons but I like Bella better with Edward, she seems even more of a emotionally-battered doormat with Jacob. Edward makes Bella somewhat likeable, Jacob doesn't.

I am 100 % team Edward!!

Reasons?

1. Jacob DIDNT imprint on Bella...so obviously, he's not her 'true love', where as Edward pretty much did imprint on Bella, in his own vampire way...in the same way as imprinting, he fell for her, and wasn't able to keep his vampireness a secret

2. Edward is just plain amazing

3. Jake was fine throughout New Moon, but turned into an emotionally blackmailing git in Eclipse.

Plus many more

I dont dislike Jacob, and I want him to be happy, but I love Edward so much more!!

I'm totally on Team Edward, but I feel sorry for Jake. No way will they EVER be Jella (that sounds like Jello...), and in Eclipse, when he kissed her, I got very, very angry at him.

But at the same time, I feel enormously bad for him. He's just got plain old teen problems (mythical creature teen problems...), plus he can't stop loving Bells. It's easier for him to fight than give up, because giving up must hurt much more. And at the end of Eclipse it seems like he's finally given up.

But *shrug* I can't bring myself to like him as much as I adore Edward.

Clairbear was right in saying that since Jake hasn't Imprinted on Bella that he's not her true love. Plus...He's so much younger than her! (OK so that can go for Bells and Edward, but since he's only 17 physically, and she's 18, that cancels it out.)

He doesn't have as many awesome *sigh* and *squee!* moments as Edward (are there any??), he's not as chivalrous and gentlemanly as Edward is, he can't give Bella everything she wants and more (although friendship is a big thing...that and a space heater are the only things he can offer), and he's even more of a danger than the Cullens with his unstable temper. At least the Cullens have gotten a good control on their thirst around Bella--the werewolves seriously need to learn anger management.

And then, of course, there's just Edward's sad human/vampire life, versus Jake's meh life. And all of Edward's awesome-amazing-dream guy-ness, versus Jake's...eh.

Lastly, as most of us have already said, Edward would give up his own happiness--sanity even--, and very immortality just to keep Bella happy. Plus he's gorgeous, super fast, can read minds, and play piano better than Mozart. Who wouldn't fall for him?

EDWARD...he is protective, selfless. All of his choices are about protecting Bella. Edward bares his heart to Bella holding nothing back. Edward is romantic, sensitive, strong, sarcastic, humorus, and he speaks beautifully.

Im definitely Team Edward! Why you might ask, well...

First of all He is always looking after Bella, if not him his family is.

Next Edward is what Bella CANT live without so hes better for Bella!

and plus Edward is just awesome! =]

I will forever be on Team Edward! He's just so much better for Bella. Eclipse really proves that. And he also takes so many precautions with her, and even though it would hurt him more than anything in the world, if Bella didn't choose him or want him around, he would leave. I really can't type out how much better Edward is for Bella, and I'm far too tired to as well ahaha.
Jacob is honestly just an annoying character. I mean, I liked him for about one second when he and Bella kissed, after that I wanted/still want to find him and strangle him. And after reading the first chapter of Breaking Dawn, I dislike him even more. The only reason I sympathize with him or relate to him is because he reminds me a lot of my best friend, and my best friend treats me in the as Jacob treats Bella. But I am very excited to see what's in store for the love triangle in Breaking Dawn! I'm counting down the days!
Who else is going to the NYC tour on August 1st?!!!

^ I could go to the NYC tour. I'd be over the border and there in an hour, but I've already made plans with a few of my friends to drive up to Ottawa to a masquerade release party. If I chose to go down south I would have to leave out my best friend. She's moving the day after close to her new college.

And I want to be team Edward. I really do. But I love Jacob too. I'm Sweden, although Edward and Bella will and shall always belong to eachother.

He loves Bella to death and their love is unbreakable (kacy came up with that word).

Well I'll start off by saying that I am

MOST DEFFINETLY TEAM EDWARD!

because Edward is just so amazing, I have never really liked Jacob because I could tell that he liked Bella, like sure he comforted her when Edward left [stupiddd boy!] but can't he just accept the fact that shes happier with Edward? And if he really loved her would he really try to take that happiness away from her? I never really liked Jacob, plus he's a year YOUNGER than Bella. No way, i don't care if Edwards 90 years older than her. i don't like younger BOYS.

But think about this guys!!

Do you remember when Bella asked Jacob if he had imprinted yet? He kind of hesitated... do you think that maybe he imprinted on Bella...? I sure hope not...

That would make me so sad..

haha but yeah, when people tell me they've read the Twilight series and they say their team jacob i freak out

I love Edward so muchhhh, haha maybe even more than Mr. Darcy!
