Since no one has done so yet, I figured I would root for Jacob. In truth I'm an Edward girl but I completely understand the pull toward Jacob. First, Jacob is a teenage boy who can understand Bella's worries and concerns because he has the same kinds of thoughts. Second, he's flawed and so human. Third, he doesn't sugar coat or try to save Bella from the bad things in life. I think Jacob understands Bella better than Edward. He knows that she wants to be included and wants to help even if it puts her in danger. Rather than lie to Bella to keep her safe, Jacob allows her to be part of the situation and help solve it. Jacob loved Bella from the time on the beach. He didn't need to be attracted to her scent or intrigued because he didn't hear her thoughts. His is love at first sight. Whereas Edward's love came after he couldn't figure Bella out. Ok that's all I got. Feel free to add more!

I kinda agree!! Jacob is what keeps Bella in touch with humans!!! As much as Edward tries, he can't seem to help her with her human ties!!!

I am for Jacob. Yes, Jake did manipulate Bella, but we all know that he knows he alot better than she gives him credit for. And for her to be with him she wouldt have to give up a true life, one with her parents and friends. To be with Edward means to be with only Edward, and as great as it would be for a little while, how do you think she'll feel when she watches from the sidelines as he parents die, as he friends marry and die. Yes she might get Edward but I dont think that the cost should be the rest of her life's loves. Jacob has been her "sun" and comfort and she loves him, and he would never see her hurt. he doesnt lie to her to spare her feelings and he doesnt try to control her. All he wants is to be beside her. I think they would be very happy.

First of all...

Sure, edward was intrigued by her scent but think about it.. do you really think he's looking for love? with a ...human...? He wouldn't give it a second thought... but then the scent came in and he got to know her. I can see how you guys are team Jacob but i just can't get over how wrong it feels to me..

Second of all...

If she went with Jacob wouldn't she only be with him? It doesn't make any sense when you say she can only be with Edward... I mean sure she'll be a Vampire, but still... she could find someone else... there are alot of vampires out there... I mean she wouldn't really want to be with anyone but Edward would she.. she can't live without him.

Third of all...

Lastly of all...

Edward shields Bella from the bad stuff because he doesn't want to scare her, or make her sad. Because he really loves her. Plus, he promised to tell her about everything next time, remember? It's like.. imagine yourself in Edwards shoes you guys.



Jacob did monipulate her but it doesn't really even matter because she relized she loved him too... so you can't really wrong him for that [for any Edward fans out there reading this]. Sure it was a jerk move... and he COULD possibly be a home wrecker... but haha...

lol. I can understand where your coming from, I mean yes Edward loves her and all but think about it, Edward shouldnt be there. He should have died over a hundred years ago and if he had then her life would have led straight to Jacob. I cant help but root for him because he was who she was supposed to be with, not Edward.

I totally agree with you there... I wrote that somewhere too lol, coincidence . Anyways, your right there not really soul mates, because he's not suppost to exist. but he DOES, so maybe he really is suppost to exist? But then if Edward didn't exist, Bella never would have talked to Jacob that one day at the beach, or at least tried to flirt with him, it would change everything its just that hole time thing, i don't know but if we look past that you're completely right about Bella, that she was suppose to be with Jacob if Edward wasn't around... but he is around and i can't really get past that point. Plus the whole werewolf thing complicates things, because he might just imprint on someone else. So i think that that kind of cancels out the whole soul mate thing, because everythings so messed up, with the whole werewolf, vampire thing, am i making any sense? haha, it doesn't really seem like it

so just bare with that thought.

I agree that he is around and all, but even if he hadnt been around she would have found her way to Jacob because Charlie and Billy are so close. There is no way they wouldnt have met or anything.

And yes, it sucks that he might imprint on someone else, but if Edward hadnt been around then maybe the other Cullens might not exist which means Jacob would never have become a werewolf.

I do think that she will be with Edward, but I adore Jacob and wish she'd choose him.

you're totally right of cource. & I see where you're coming from. I don't really hate Jacob, he just gets on my nerves.. a lot, i think he's a good friend and all, but i just can't really see him with Bella when edwards in the equation.

I don't really know if you're right about the whole bella and edward being together thing though... i think somethings gonna happen with bella and jacob.... *sigh*.

Thankyou, I have had way too much time to think about this story while waiting on Breaking Dawn.

And I do think that something will happen between Jacob and Bella, but I know she'll end up with Edward in the end, you cant fight a love that strong.

i think bella shoulod have stayed with jacob not only was he healthy for her when she was human but when EDWARD left her int he woods jacob was there to help her and cheer her up UNLIKE edward cullen AND jacob has a humor.
